Pixaball v.1.0.4 (5) Beta Test List

Pixaball Beta Test List

Thank you for testing Pixaball. Please play the game normally, but while testing, try to pay attention to the items below.

If you find a bug, visual issue, crash, performance problem, or anything that feels wrong, please report it through the Pixallive Support page:

When reporting an issue, please include your device model, iOS version, game build number, level number, and a short explanation of what happened.


Important Test Note

This beta version currently includes 15 playable levels.

Level 15 is the final level available in this test version. After completing Level 15, the game should show a special end-of-content panel explaining that new levels will be added in the future. From that panel, the player should be able to return to the main menu.

Please check that the final level panel appears correctly after Level 15 and that returning to the main menu works properly.


1. Most Important Tests

Please check these first:

Screen & UI

  • Does the game fit properly on your iPhone screen?
  • Are there any black borders, cropped UI elements, or buttons outside the screen?
  • Do menus, popups, pause screen, settings screen, level select, tutorial panels, death screen, and final level panel look correct?
  • Are all buttons easy to tap?

Performance

  • Does the game run smoothly?
  • Do you notice lag, freezing, stuttering, or low FPS?
  • Does the game slow down when powerups, tutorials, particles, ads, or level transitions appear?
  • Does the game crash or close unexpectedly?

Core Gameplay

  • Does the paddle move correctly with touch controls?
  • Does the ball bounce correctly from the paddle, walls, bricks, and iron bricks?
  • Does the ball ever bounce from an invisible place or get stuck?
  • Does losing a ball correctly trigger the death screen?
  • Does level restart / next level transition work properly?

Tutorial Levels

Levels 1–4 include tutorial animations. Please check:

  • Do tutorial animations start at the correct time?
  • Is the game paused when tutorial explanation is active?
  • Does tapping continue the tutorial correctly?
  • Do the tutorial text, pointer, focus effect, character animation, and sound work correctly?
  • Does the game continue normally after the tutorial ends?

Powerup Test Levels

Levels 5–12 are designed to test one powerup per level. Please check:

  • Does the powerup appear correctly?
  • Does collecting the powerup activate the correct effect?
  • Does the powerup duration feel correct?
  • Does the powerup stop correctly when its time ends?
  • Does the upgraded version of the powerup work as expected?
  • Does the powerup cause any bug, crash, stuck ball, broken UI, or strange physics?

Levels 13–15 Normal Gameplay Test

Levels 13–15 are designed to test how the normal gameplay flow feels. Please check:

  • Do the levels feel playable and fair?
  • Do normal gameplay, powerups, ball movement, deaths, transitions, UI, and performance work together properly?
  • Does anything feel confusing, broken, too slow, too hard, or unfinished?
  • Does the final level panel appear correctly after completing Level 15?
  • Does returning to the main menu from the final level panel work properly?

2. General Test List

Please also check these if possible:

Settings

  • Music volume works correctly.
  • SFX volume works correctly.
  • Haptics / vibration setting works correctly.
  • Paddle speed setting changes the paddle movement correctly.
  • Privacy and Support buttons open correctly.

Save System

  • Progress is saved after playing.
  • Closing and reopening the game keeps your progress.
  • Settings remain saved after restarting the game.
  • If iCloud save is available, progress should sync correctly between devices using the same Apple ID.

Ads

  • Test ads should only appear at safe moments, not during active gameplay.
  • Ads should not appear too frequently.
  • After closing an ad, the game should continue normally.

Audio

  • Music and sound effects play correctly.
  • Sounds are not too loud, too quiet, distorted, or missing.
  • Death screen, buttons, ball hits, powerups, and transitions have proper sound feedback.
